Moisture absorbent overgrips should be used to prevent the racquet from slipping and causing friction against the hands. People struggling with joint and other bone related problems should wear wraps or pads on the knees and elbows to prevent injuries. Since tennis is best enjoyed as an outdoor sport, players should deal with the elements of the sun. Friendly and competitive matches usually last between 1-2 hours, and the sun can be a major problem. Wearing sweatproof sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses will help players on hot days.
