Public sports teams for South Carolina

There are some great public sports teams in South Carolina. Professionally, the Carolina Panthers play in North Carolina. it is a foregone conclusion that South Carolinians have adopted them as their home team during the football season. The South Carolina Gamecocks play an exciting game of college football. It is a great ticket for the many college football fans out there. There are high expectations for them in the coming season.

The South Carolina Gamecocks, take the court in the fall. They run and gun to the delight of their many fans. They have won tournaments and division championships for their efforts. If you are looking for a professional game you will have to go to Charlotte North Carolina to see the Bobcats play.

The South Carolina Gamecocks also take the field in the spring with their baseball team. They have appeared in ten college world series and have players that have gone on to compete in the major leagues. South Carolina also has three summer collegiate baseball teams.

If you prefer a rougher sport you can take in a game with the two professional hockey team that call South Carolina home. They are the Greenville Road Warriors and the South Carolina Stingrays. These teams play in the AA league.
